Hallett Group – Green Hydrogen Fuel Research in the Cement Industry

Hallett Group are one of the most forward-thinking cement producers in Australia in  substituting industrial by-products for natural sand and then pushing the boundaries on using supplementary cementitious materials to replace more than 60% of the cement typically used in some high-spec projects. Elecseed are working with Hallett in developing alternative fuel sources such as Hydrogen in the drying process, mitigating the use of traditional fossil fuels such as Liquid Propane Gas (LPG).  The study work looks at optimisation of Green Hydrogen use and carbon abatement to support an overall green cement product offering.
